CHIP covers dental services, including routine check-ups, cleanings, and dental treatments like fillings and extractions. Eligibility requirements for CHIP vary by state, but generally, children and teens from families with incomes too high to qualify for Medicaid but too low to afford private insurance are eligible for CHIP.
