RevisarThe Healthcare for The Homeless - SEARCH Clinic is a dental clinic that is dedicated to serving individuals who are homeless in Houston. As an editor for Yelp, I was thoroughly impressed with the clinic's commitment to providing high-quality dental care to those who may not have access to it. The clinic's team of dental professionals is highly experienced and knowledgeable, making them equipped to handle a wide range of dental services. One of the things that stood out to me about this clinic was their focus on creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for patients. They understand that individuals who are homeless face a number of challenges, and dental care should not be an added stressor. The staff is friendly and compassionate, and they go above and beyond to make patients feel at ease. Another remarkable thing about this clinic is their commitment to providing affordable dental care. They offer a sliding fee scale, which means that the cost of treatment is based on the patient's income. This ensures that individuals who are homeless have access to dental care regardless of their financial status. Overall, Healthcare for The Homeless - SEARCH Clinic is an outstanding dental clinic that truly cares about the well-being of its patients. They are committed to providing high-quality services in a comfortable and affordable setting. If you or someone you know is in need of dental care, I highly recommend reaching out to this clinic.

This is a SLIDING SCALE clinic. The costs for clinic services are based on either your income or they offer type of financial assistance. Contact the clinic directly to discuss prices for individual services which vary. Sliding Scale does not necessarily mean free. For people who live on the streets or have marginal housing, minimal income, and no health insurance, dental care often becomes a low priority. The result is poor oral hygiene, dental disease, and often, tooth decay and loss. The "Smile Book" to the left shows the transformation that occurs when some of these homeless patients seek help at our clinic. In effect, the patients "get their smile back". In addition, they gain the confidence needed to apply for social services, interview for jobs, and start to rebuild their lives.Dental Services: Exams (comprehensive and emergency) X-rays Cleanings Preventive services Periodontal therapy Oral health education Cancer screenings Restorations Extractions Root canals Crowns and bridges Dentures Specialist referralsHours: Monday – Thursday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Fridays, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm.
